- We are also proud to share that “Ikies of Mykonos” is home to its own Organic farm. We kindly encourage you to embrace and respect the beauty of Nature. During your stay, a peaceful walk through nature can truly nourish the mind, body, and soul.
Mykonos has always been a charming yet relatively small island with limited natural water resources and infrastructure. Following an exceptionally dry winter and unusually high summer temperatures, the island has recently experienced water shortages and occasional power outages.
We would greatly appreciate your support in helping us conserve resources during your stay:
- Please use water responsibly. Avoid leaving taps or showers running unnecessarily and kindly inform us if you notice any leaks or running water.
- While we take great pride in our housekeeping services, linen changes are typically carried out regularly. Should you require any additional service, please contact our Front Desk team at any time.
- To support energy conservation efforts, we kindly ask you to maintain your room’s air-conditioning temperature responsibly, in line with government recommendations of no lower than 24°C.
- Please switch off lights and electrical devices when not in use or when leaving your room Keeping blackout curtains closed during the day also helps reduce heat from the sun and supports energy efficiency.
- Power outages: In the event of extreme weather conditions, temporary power outages may occur. If a storm arises, we kindly ask you to unplug unnecessary electrical devices whenever possible. Emergency lighting and candles are available in all villas for your convenience.
- Greece’s islands are continuing to strengthen efforts toward zero waste and lower carbon emissions as part of wider environmental initiatives and EU recycling goals. At Ikies of Mykonos Resort, we actively support plastic recycling initiatives that help protect our seas and environment.
- HEALTH COMES FIRST. Your health, safety, and comfort remain our highest priorities. Our cleanliness standards have always been exceptionally thorough, using environmentally friendly products wherever possible. We continue to follow all necessary precautionary measures to ensure you enjoy a safe, relaxing, and truly memorable stay with us.
